It has been a while that I haven’t reviewed anything related to skin care, on this blog. I have been taking care of my skin a lot because something happened to my skin after my engagement, which is probably due the dirty sponges used on my face for the makeup application. Ugh! Even the thought boils me. It has been a while I have been using Jo’s Organic O’ Honey face mask+scrub. Now its time to share my thoughts about it.

Jo’s Organic O’ Honey is made to uncover the radiant glow and provide hydration. It gently exfoliates the dead skin cells while smoothing and refining skin.

PACKAGING:

It comes in a plastic tub with Jo’s Organic label and product name mentioned on the lid and the description mentioned on the walls of the tub. The lid screws in tightly, making the packaging, storage and travel friendly.

QUALITY:

First thing is first, it smells like delicious cranberries fused with honey. This scent might tempt you to eat it right away, but do not try it. The mask feels rough and sticky to touch and has a thick texture. For the first time, the application was a bit tricky for me. I had a hard time spreading it out evenly on my face. Once applied, it will dry within 20 minutes. What I do is I wet my face and start massaging using circular motions. The oats in the mask+scrub slough away the dead skin cells and also treats acne and inflammation. Cranberries boosts regulation of the skin tissues and improves complexion as they are rich in vitamin C. This magic fruit also contains antiseptic properties that helps keep the skin clean and acne free, meanwhile honey tightens, brightens and softens the skin. Jo’s Organic O’ Honey mask+scrub also contains essential oils that caters to different issues of the skin. I noticed a visible difference in my skin texture and complexion after a week of using it. I was recommended to use it twice a week and it was enough to show a visible change in my skin.

FINAL VERDICT:

I use it twice a week every week now and I must say it is keeping my skin in control if not clearing it completely. I would recommend this mask, especially to every college and university going girl and also everyone who has daily exposure to sun and dirt.

Sloughs away dead skin.
Brightens the complexion.
Keeps acne at bay.
Plumps up the skin.
Pulls out dirt from the pores.

CONS:

Application and removal can be a bit messy.
