The formula has a watery consistency that applies opaque and dries to a dead matte finish. It is densely pigmented and and non sticky. It is the driest liquid lipstick I have used and lighter shades might accentuate the fine lines on the lips. The product is very long lasting and does not bleed, transfer or fade even after eating. You might need to touch up a little bit if the food is too oily or you have been licking your lips a lot. Although, it will start coming off from the center after 6 to 8 hours. It comes with a doe-foot applicator that makes the application easier and precise. Working quickly with this product is the best option as it dries within 30 seconds, or else the application will be streaky or crumbly. Removing color pop ultra matte liquid lipsticks can be a hard task as they are very dry and long lasting. For me it requires 2 steps; wiping and rubbing with a makeup wipe and the cleaning the residue with petroleum jelly and cotton pad. I make sure to heavily moisturize my lips after using this as it can leave the lips quite dry. The best part about this product is that it is odorless and tasteless.

PRICE & AVAILABILITY:

The Colour Pop Ultra Matte Liquid lipsticks costs around PKR 1000-1100 and can be bought from Facebook pages like Zensky or Indelath.

FINAL VERDICT:

These liquid lipsticks are quite affordable than the others available in the market yet they are not anything less in quality. Bumble is my most used color out of the bunch you can pair it with smoky eyes or just wear Bumble on your lips and make a statement. The product lasts for a really long time and doesn’t budge. If you want to step into the world of liquid lipsticks and want something that won’t cause a dent on your wallet then definitely go for it.

Note: Tulle contains carmine which is a haram ingredient.

  1. Hi there! I recently brought 2 colour pop shades: bumble and bad habit… bumble is my favourite but when I checked the ingredients on the box it said it has carmine and I personally don’t use any products which contain carmine but then I realised the ingredients are the same on every box… and then I was told that not all the shades contain carmine… would you know if bumble and bad habit contain it or not??
