Hope you all are doing great and shining bright. It has been a while that I haven’t reviewed any face product although I have been trying out a few new of these. Therefore, I decided to share my experience about Makeup Revolution cover and conceal palette in shade “Light-Medium”. Here we go!
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
Our ULTRA Cover & Conceal Palette is perfect for the professional application desired by all of us.
Professional and highly pigmented, yet easy to blend, concealers for the ultimate coverage to hide any imperfections for a perfect flawless finish! For the makeup artists, this really is your ultimate must-have palette for your kit for any varying skin tones!
For you makeup lovers – there is now no need to buy different concealer shades throughout the year to suit your skin color tone – there are 8 shades in one palette which can be used individually or combined to create your perfect shade – a necessity for everyday use.
The sleek black palette comes encased in a black cardboard box. The palette is made of good quality plastic and has a full, lid sized mirror inside. It has a sturdy lock which makes the palette travel friendly. The brand name is mentioned on the lid with Gold letters, making it look classy.
Upon opening the palette we get 8 creamy concealer shades suitable for light to medium skin tones. They have a lightweight greasy texture with sheer to medium coverage. They have a tendency to set in fine lines under the eyes even if used over and eye primer. I have used it with and without eye primer and setting powder, but it creased either ways within 2 hours. The palette contains both yellow based and pink based concealers which makes it fit for both warm and cool undertones. The staying power is good. They would stay on for about 4 hours and then start fading away. They have a slight crayon like scent which fades away within minutes after application. To me, the scent is not bothersome at all but, if you have a very sensitive nose, it might bother you.
PRICE & AVAILABILITY:
This palette is good for cream highlighting and contouring, but not for concealing blemishes as it is greasy. The staying power is okay, but could be better. I mostly use the lighter shades from this palette under my eyes and the bridge of my nose for highlighting. If you have normal/dry skin, then definitely give it a try. If you have oily, acne prone skin, then you might not like it.
