It’s Sunday and I am back with another review. Today I have some gorgeous lipsticks by Atiqa Odho cosmetics. We all know Atiqa Odho; A talented Pakistani Actress, Politician and Makeup artist. She launched a Cosmetic brand, providing us the product perfect for our Desi skin tones containing Halal ingredients. It comes in a classic red and gold swivel tube with a touch of royalty. The packaging is like the Dior addict lipsticks; with a knob at the bottom. They make a good statement piece for the dressing table. However, the cap is not sturdy and might open in the bag.

It has a nice creamy texture that glides on smoothly on lips without tugging. It has a beautiful matte finish, the one that does not accentuate the fine lines on the lips and is not over drying, you know? All shades are extremely pigmented except “obsessed”. You need a single swipe for an opaque coverage. It is long-lasting and stays put for up to 6 hours. It passed the drinking challenge but failed the Desi food challenge. I love that it doesn’t bleed or smudge. Coming to the scent, it has a slight minty scent, but is not overpowering.

AR3 – Ravishing: It is hands down the most gorgeous shade of red I have in my collection until now. It is a cool toned red with slightly golden metallic undertones. Interesting, right? In my opinion, it is the perfect shade of red for NC 25-30 skin tones. I am head over heels for this color.
AB1 – Bashful: It is a cool toned matte brown shade. The typical 90’s brown, you remember? Gorgeous!
AP2 – Passion: It is a neutral candy pink color. I am personally not a pink lipstick lover, but it looks good against my NC 25 skin tone. So anyone with the same skin tone might love it.
AP8 – Pleasure: It is a dull mauve-y pink color. At first I thought it would be a good daily lip color, but it kind of washed me off. However, it is good for heavy smokey eyes kind of nights.
AO2 – Obsessed: It is a sheer golden lip color with gritty glitter particles that might settle into fine lines of the lips after a few hours.

FINAL VERDICT:

In short, these lipsticks really impressed me specially “Ravishing”. I am totally in love with that color. My mom, who is not a fan of red lipsticks, complimented me when I wore that. All the lipsticks are long lasting and smudge proof. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes 🙂
