As you all might have known by now, I am lipstick crazy. So, here are two more lippies that I am going to review today.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
Christine Lipstick is a definitive brand for all events. The mineral centered soothing formulation deals a lovely velvety feel, water-logged shade and it repels wear and smearing. Wear this go lip and with pure pink, red, butterfly, pink rose, teak rose, dark red brown and lots more. With highly pigmented, luxuriantly prepared, this unique formula move smoothly and stays longer on lips.
It comes in a black swivel tube with silver accents. The cap is slightly loose hence, can open up in a bag. The shade number and name is mentioned on the bottom of the tube.
The texture of these lipsticks is velvety and sets to a matte finish. The velvety texture makes it easier to apply. It does not settle into fine lines of the lip which is a big plus for a lipstick with such a low price tag. The lasting power of these lipsticks is also impressive. It will not smudge, bleed or fade unevenly. It will last for about 5 to 6 hours and stays fresh. After that, it will start fading evenly. Both the shades that I have got are very pigmented. All you need is one swipe to get an opaque finish. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear “Windsor”. Coming to the scent, Both the shades smells different. Windsor has sweet smell while Orchid Purple smells soapy, urgh!
(Yes! these both are my hands and I don’t know why they are the different shades. )
Windsor -383: It is a cool toned red with slight pink undertone.
Orchid Purple -110: It is a beautiful matte mauve color.
PRICE & AVAILABILITY:
Christine Princess lipsticks retails for PKR 200 and can be purchased from any local cosmetic store. I bought mine from Saima Shopping Mall, Karachi. It can also be ordered online from http://www.saloni.pk in such a reasonable price.
Considering the price, these lipsticks are amazing in every aspect except the packaging. These can be a good addition to the makeup collection, but, if you want a lipstick to keep in your purse, you might want to pass it.
