Hope you all are doing fine. Today I am here with St.Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub. I have a very committed relationship with St. Ives scrubs since I was fifteen. I had always seen my mom using St. Ives Apricot scrub that used to come in an orange tub back then. Can you relate?
Now my mom, my sister and I use the same scrub. Want to know why? Scroll Down.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and glowing.
Oil-free • Non-irritating • dermatologist-tested • 100% natural exfoliants • 100% natural extracts • Formulated without parabens and phthalates • Made without animal ingredients.
APRICOTS are known to contain one of the highest levels of carotenoids (think vitamin A) and supper-effective antioxidants. All of this natural power might seem, well, too powerful, but they are actually quite gentle and nourishing and they help make fresher, more nourished skin beautifully possible.
Corn Kernel Meal:
CORN KERNEL MEAL is actually flour ground from dried corn. It’s a soft, but gently powerful all-natural exfoliant that promotes skin cell turnover and regeneration. Cornmeal makes softer-feeling, fresher skin possible.
WALNUT is known for its hard shell, but when it’s ground, it becomes an amazingly effective, all-natural exfoliant ingredient in our scrubs. Not only are walnuts plentiful on the planet, they also help newer, healthier skin come to the surface.
It comes in a plastic squeeze-y tube with a sturdy flip-off cap. It has a white base and colored glossy wordings printed on it. The tube is travel friendly and will not open in a bag.
It has a thick paste-y texture and has abrasive beads. According to the ingredients, they may be crushed walnut shells. This scrub does exactly what it claims to do; clears and reveals glowing skin. It is not suitable for daily use and can be harsh if not used properly. It has a noticeable scent, but nothing very bothering. I use it twice, or sometimes thrice a week and I love how it leaves my skin baby smooth and all ready for applying makeup. This scrub can also be used on the body. I sometimes use it on my lips too.
PRICE & AVAILABILITY:
St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot scrub costs PKR 290 and can bought from all supermarkets nationwide. I bought mine from HOME PLUS supermarket. This scrub is also available online on just4girls.pk.
In a nutshell, This product has never disappointed me. I have tried a few other scrubs too, but I always come back running to my trusty St. Ives Apricot scrub. I have used the blemish control apricot scrub from St. Ives too, and I love it as much. It offers a really good quality on such a low price.
