A lot of people around the world suffer from under eye dark circles. Which are real nightmares and causes us to look more aged and tired.

Unluckily there is no wonder cure for dark circles. However, it is difficult to get rid of dark circles once they appear. But there are some remedies that can reduce them in less time.

CAUSES OF DARK CIRCLES:

The skin under your eyes is very sensitive and delicate. There are many reasons that cause dark circles under your eyes.

Like,

  1. Lack of sleep.
  2. Deficiency of Iron.
  3. Age.
  4. Sun damage.
  5. Dehydration.
  6. Allergies.
  7. Genetics.
  8. Tension
  9. Depression etc.

HOW TO GET RID OF IT?

Using some of your kitchen items and some medical and cosmetic products you can get rid of dark circles. The most widespread advice for this problem is to “Sleep More”. Which is quite difficult in this modern and busy era.

I am also undergoing this hell on earth nowadays. I was questing for some effective ways to remove my dark circles completely. So, I came up with these.

Proper Lifestyle:

ImageThe first step to get rid of the dark circles is to get the beauty sleep. Because lack of sleep tends to make the skin look paler and make the dark circles stand out more.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables specially, green leafy vegetables. Take vitamin C and vitamin K supplements as they can heal the veins under your eye area.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily to improve blood circulation.

no smoking

If you smoke, drink or take drugs then quit it. It can not only endanger your life, but make your dark circles more prominent.

Don’t rub your eyes, as it breaks down the tiny capillaries under your eyes causing discoloration ad puffiness.

Natural Beauty Tips:

Cool Tea Bags: Apply cool, damp tea bags on your eyes in the morning and keep it on for at least 15 minutes. Remove, and wash your eyes with cold water.

Cucumber:  Apply two sliced cucumbers on your eyes to reduce puffiness and lighten the bluish gray tint around your eyes.

Potato Slices: Cut two thin potato slices and put them into chilled water for 5 minutes, Then place those slices on your eyes and lie down for 10 minutes. Remove, and wash your eyes with cold water.

Chilled Spoon: Put a spoon in the refrigerator for half an hour. Close your eyes and put the spoon on your eyes until the spoon is warm.

Lemon: Mix few drops of lemon juice in fresh milk cream and apply it under your eyes. Remove and rinse off with cold water.

Cosmetic Beauty Tips:

Under Eye Cream: Daily use of under eye cream containing vitamin K can reduce puffiness and helps in discoloration very significantly. 

Concealer: Yellow tones of the Concealer diminish the appearance of dark circles. But the right tone of the Concealer should be selected, otherwise too light Concealer will give the look of “Raccoon eyes” and too dark Concealer will give you a very tired look.

Vitamin Supplements:  Take vitamin C and vitamin K supplements to heal up the veins under your eyes.

You can also use eye masks and other eye serum for this purpose and get great effects 🙂
